Internship Overview:

The Solar Business Development Intern is a fully remote role envisioned to play a pivotal role in growing our market presence and expanding our client base in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) market segment of the Philippine solar market. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with multinationals in the renewable energy industry and contribute to the growth of Entoria Energy in the Philippines.


This role is a 3-month full-time or 6-month part-time position.


Some key aspects of the role inlude:

  • Market Research: Coordinate with the Business Development Team to identify target industries and potential clients by understanding customer’s energy needs, pain points, and challenges, tailoring your approach accordingly.
  • Lead Generation: Initiate meaningful conversations with leads, creating initial interest and setting up appointments for the Business Development team.
  • Proposal Preparation Support: Assist the BD Team in preparing and delivering techno-commercial solar presentation to potential clients.
  • Administrative Support: Document interactions, track progress, and report on lead generation activities to measure success
  • Partnership Development: Explore solar collaboration opportunities with other organizations

Job requirements

We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and self-motivated undergraduate student with below qualifications:

  • Enrolled Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong interest in business development and renewable energy technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with solar tools (eg. Helioscope, PVSyst, SolarGIS) is a plus
