Entoria Energy is also expanding its wind portfolio, as well as other renewable energy sources.

Role overview

Reporting to Head of Operations (APAC) in Thailand, you will be responsible for leading and supervising all engineering and procurement activities in Asia. Support such as design verification and plant improvements during construction, operation and maintenance will be a part of the function.

Job Description

The main role of this position is to:

  1. Build up engineering capabilities and an Engineering team in Asia

  2. Carry out preliminary analysis of new projects (Design, PVSyst, costing etc.)

  3. Provide technical specifications, ToR, SoW for tender and contracts.

  4. Technical review of contractor documents during construction and execution

  5. Oversee procurement of main equipment

  6. Define Engineering standards and standardised system design guidelines.

You will be part of a multicultural dedicated team analysing, selecting, monitoring and managing regional solar projects. This position offers significant potential for development for the right individual.

Your duties include:

  • Manage the engineering team in Asia;

  • Manage engineering for various projects during development and construction;

  • Conduct site visits and site surveys;

  • Analysis and interpretation of information received from clients;

  • Modelling photovoltaic plants with PVSYST software or similar;

  • Ensure compliance of technical and customer service standards to Entoria’s policy;

  • Review drawings to ensure compliance to Entoria’s requirements;

  • Manage various relations with suppliers;

  • Collection and analysis of technical data.

Job requirements

Your profile

  • Bachelors/Diploma in Engineering, with electrical and/or energy specialization;

  • Experience with AutocCAD software;

  • Adept in Microsoft Tools, including Excel and PowerPoint;

  • Min 5 years’ experience in design and implementation of photovoltaic installations, hybrid energy systems, grid-connected or off-grid systems is preferred

  • Able to establish credibility with senior professionals and business partners;

  • Entrepreneurial personality, self-starter, result-oriented;

  • Team player but also have the confidence to work on his/her own on a wide range of tasks and projects;

  • Strong English communication, meeting and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Interest in working with a global team

  • Has understanding of regional utility (SEA) interconnections, metering requirements and data systems

  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving

  • Knowledge of project budget process and tools

  • Multi-tasking ability (prioritize, organise, schedule work)
