Role overview
Reporting to the Head of Operations Asia, you will be responsible for the technical execution of projects in Thailand, and occasionally support other activities. This role is a full-time position.
Job Description
The main role of this position is to:
· Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for proposed projects.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the project design meets specifications, including the Bill of Quantities (BOQ), project costing, and breakdowns.
· Project planning and execution of solar projects from initiation to completion.
· Conduct regular project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
· Manage EPC contractors, conduct QA/QC inspections and conduct site supervision for projects in Thailand.
· Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
· Foster positive relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
· Evaluate project performance and implement improvements as needed.
· Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies.
· Collaborate with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with standards.
· Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports.
· Provide customer service to clients as required*

Job requirements
Your profile
· University Graduate with degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
· Experience in solar project design and engineering.
· Proven experience managing solar projects from inception to completion.
· Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
· Proficiency in engineering software and tools, with a minimum requirement of proficiency in PVSyst and AutoCAD.
· Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Confident communicator in English and Thai
· Ability to deliver under pressure while supporting peers in a collaborative environment.
· Willingness to learn about the solar and renewable energy industry.
· Willingness to travel frequently across the country.
· Experience in Power, Infrastructure, or Renewables is a plus.
· Understanding of Power Purchase Agreements is an advantage.
· 2-3 years of relevant experience as a minimum.
