With rapid expansion globally, especially in Southeast Asia, we now have an exciting opportunity for a finance and admin assistant to join our team in Thailand. This is a rare opportunity to join an established, well-funded and proven renewable energy team in a high profile, high impact role.


Overview

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you will support all finance and administration activities in Asia. You will work closely with all of our Thai staff.

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Note:  Only applicants who fulfil legal requirements to work in the country will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • To handle all spectrums of Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable (Data entries, invoice processing, payments, receipts, claims and vouchers etc).
  • Liaise with tax accountants on tax filing, payroll, settlement, annual reporting, audit
  • Assist in month-end accounting activities, including GL and bank reconciliations.
  • Assist in year-end audit.
  • Assist in daily administration, office maintenance, IT matters, mails, couriers, insurance renewal and any administration requirements.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Translation, summaries, extracts of Thai documents into English and vice versa where required.
  • Any other tasks or projects that may be assigned.

Our office is centrally located near Chit Lom, hybrid work

Job requirements

Profile

  • Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
  • IT literate and digital savvy – In depth MS Package knowledge
  • Fluent business English speaking and writing
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and judgement in carrying out day-to-day role
  • Multi-tasker looking for wide range of exposure
  • Pro-active, independent worker, Can-do attitude, dares to ask questions/support, takes initiative
  • Meticulous in documentation
