With rapid expansion plans in Asia Pacific, we now have an exciting opportunity for Country Project Manager - Thailand. This is a rare opportunity to join an established, well-funded and proven renewable energy team in a high profile, high impact role.


Role overview: Country Project Manager - Thailand

Reporting to the Head of Operations (APAC) in Thailand, you will be responsible for leading and supervising all projects in Thailand.

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Note: Only applicants who fulfil legal requirements to work in Thailand will be considered.

Responsibilities

· Lead the planning and execution of solar projects from initiation to completion.

· Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.

· Proactively drives a safety culture in projects and ensures projects ESG compliance.

· Conduct regular project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.

· Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.

· Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.

· Foster positive relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.

· Evaluate project performance and implement improvements as needed.

Job requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.

· Proven experience managing solar projects from inception to completion.

· Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience project management

· Confident communicator in English

· Ability to deliver under pressure while supporting peers in a collaborative environment

· Willingness to travel frequently across the country

· Experience in Power, Infrastructure, or Renewables is a plus

· Understanding of Power Purchase Agreements is an advantage

· Ability to produce reports and develop relevant policies

· Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment

· Excellent organizational and motivational skills

· Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
